The Leathersellers' Company Charitable Fund
New applications will be considered for the 2023-24 academic year from January 2023 – April 2023. To be eligible you must be a student already enrolled on a full-time undergraduate degree (or foundation) course at a UK University, or with an offer to do so for the future academic year. You must be in financial need of support to study the course (and have exhausted other options for funding including loans or family support) and hold the ambition to have a positive impact on society in the future.
Non-British citizens should have at least 5 years right to remain in the UK or be eligible for home fee status, and meet at least one of the following criteria:
Grant are made towards fees or general costs for students who are studying full-time degree courses. A maximum of £5,000 per annum is available, subject to annual review, for a maximum of 4 years.
Applications have to be submitted via our online form at www.leathersellers.co.uk Applications by letter or email will not be considered.
After applications have closed you can sign up for an email notification when they re-open for next year.
We notify all applicants of the outcome of their application, whether you have been shortlisted for an interview or not. So, unless your email address changes, there is no need for you to do anything else once you have completed your application.
Whilst the scheme is not focused on supporting prisoners or ex-offenders, we welcome applications from all eligible students regardless of background. Please do note that we will not be able to fund any courses that are not full-time at undergraduate level, and we do not accept appeals sent by letter.
